Craft your art skills and portfolios in London Arts Portfolio Academy, unlock your creative potential, and be well-prepared for the best art universities in the UK.
Full-Time Art & Design Foundation Course
Including an Introductory phase (lasting three months) and an Advanced phase (five months), the Foundation Course is an eight-month course for senior secondary school students who want to just focus on Art & Design. You can apply to University of the Arts London (UAL) or Art & Design degrees in other UK universities upon completion. Starts in August and November every year. Taught in English. Open to F.5 and F.6 students.
Central Saint Martins (CSM) Portfolio Summer Course
Get a taste of the CSM way of learning and upgrade your portfolio in just two weeks’ time! Taught together by a UAL tutor from London and local UAL-grad tutors, the Summer Course is taught in hands-on workshops, where students are expect to get their hands dirty as they explore and develop their ideas, work on drawing and creative skills, and do visual research and creative experiments. Taught in English and runs every summer. Students will receive a UAL certificate upon successful completion and meeting certain standards.
London Arts Portfolio Academy (LAPA) Art & Design Portfolio Preparation Course
Lasting 2-8 weeks, these project-based Summer Courses are taught in hands-on workshops, where students are expect to get their hands dirty as they explore and develop their ideas, work on drawing and creative skills, and do visual research and creative experiments. In just one summer, you can explore a few art & design specialisms and enrich your portfolio with a few new works! Runs between June and August by 2-week blocks. Taught in English.
One-to-One Private Classes
Taught one-to-one by local UAL-grad tutors, these private classes help student develop their creative skills and develop their portfolio step by step. Sign up for regular classes (say weekly or biweekly), so that your tutor can advise on your works through a long period and have in-depth discussion as you develop your concepts and – most importantly – your personal style! Starts anytime in a year, taught in English or Cantonese.
